Accessibility Statement

Effective Date: May 3, 2025

The Tiff Advantage is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for all users, including people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Our Commitment to Accessibility

We believe that everyone should be able to access and use our website and the Hiring Manager Direct Connect (HMDC) Protocol platform, regardless of their abilities or the technology they use. We are dedicated to making our digital content accessible and user-friendly for all.

Efforts to Support Accessibility

The Tiff Advantage takes the following measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Integrating accessibility into our development process: We consider accessibility from the initial design and development phases of our website and the HMDC platform.

  • Providing accessibility training: Our development and design teams receive training on accessibility best practices and standards.

  • Conducting accessibility evaluations: We regularly evaluate our website and platform for accessibility barriers.

  • Using accessibility tools: We utilize automated and manual testing tools to identify and address accessibility issues.

  • Considering accessibility in third-party integrations: While we integrate with external ATS, assessment, and verification providers, we strive to partner with vendors who also prioritize accessibility in their platforms where possible.

Conformance Status

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. WCAG defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: A, AA, and AAA.

While we strive to achieve WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance, it is an ongoing process, and some areas may still be undergoing improvements.

Accessibility Features

Our website and the HMDC platform are being developed with accessibility in mind, incorporating features such as:

  • Keyboard Navigation: Ensuring all interactive elements are navigable using a keyboard.

  • Alternative Text for Images: Providing descriptive alt text for images to convey their content and function to screen reader users.

  • Clear Structure and Headings: Using proper semantic HTML and heading structures to organize content logically.

  • Sufficient Color Contrast: Designing with adequate color contrast to ensure text and graphical elements are readable.

  • Resizable Text: Allowing users to adjust text size without loss of content or functionality.

  • Descriptive Link Text: Using meaningful text for links to help users understand their destination.

Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of The Tiff Advantage website and the HMDC Protocol platform. If you encounter accessibility barriers, please let us know:

We try to respond to feedback within 2 business days.

Limitations and Alternatives

Despite our best efforts to ensure accessibility, there may be some limitations. Below is a description of known limitations, and potential solutions:

  • Third-Party Content and Integrations: While we select third-party providers carefully, the accessibility of integrated ATS, assessment tools, and verification services may vary and are subject to the accessibility efforts of those providers. We encourage users to consult the accessibility statements of those respective providers.

    • Alternative: If you encounter an accessibility issue with a third-party integrated service, please contact us, and we will explore potential alternative workflows or provide assistance where possible.

We are continuously working to improve the accessibility of our platform and address any limitations.
